Ulupınar Ulupınar is a village located 30 kilometers from the district center of Kemer in Turkey's Antalya Province. It is on the outskirts of the Olympos Valley National Park above Çıralı which is famous for its eternal fire and embraces a region of stunning natural beauty. Particularly noted areas are the dense woods and the source of a river which gives its name to the region; pınar meaning water source in Turkish. Its icy waters spurt out from rocks at a high altitude and descend into a waterfall. There are several restaurants situated along the river near the village which is on the axis of the road from Kemer to Finike and Kumluca, and these delightful riverside restaurants serve trout from the river as well as more varied dishes. On weekends residents from Kemer are seen heading for Ulupınar to these restaurants in the village which serve very good food for fair price. Trout - Turkish: Alabalik or Goat - Turkish: Kavurma or Quail are the better choices. Cardak Restaurant is maybe the smallest located directly on the main road and is kind of like a drive in. The extension of Ulupınar village toward the seashore constitutes the village of Çıralı which is notable for its long beach and tourism facilities as well as the ruins of the ancient city of Olympos.
